Mariella's Guest House

I found Mariellas great for the price, it was comfortable close to Tubod beach, and away from the more louder area. I loved how roomy my cabin was.

Yes there were some power outages, but it’s an island wide issue. Most of the time it came back between 20min to 1 hour. The shower is weird, but I extended my stay in the island and had to go to another hotel and their shower was the same situation. ( so idk if this is a setback to this particular place)

Cellular network signal is poor.

The location is closed the tubod beach, the famous cliff and waterfalls. The staff and the ower are very nice and helpful.

From the very start of my booking process, the owner was really kind and accommodating until we arrived to this place. The staff, Ate Mercy helped us to book our transportation and also recommended good spots around San Juan. In general, our stay at Mariella's house was so great that I want to go back there again.

I recently stayed at Mariella's Guest House for three nights, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! For a budget hotel, it met my expectations in so many ways. First, the staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and accommodating. She gave a free room upgrade because the a/c in the room that I originally booked had issues. The bed was surprisingly cozy, and I had no trouble getting a good night’s sleep. Plus, my room had very a big LED TV with cable and strong WiFi signal. Overall, Mariella's Guest House is a fantastic choice for anyone on a budget. I would definitely recommend it

Probably the lack of generator, especially that there's island-wide power outage for 3-4 hours almost everyday but not a deal-breaker for me though.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They accommodated all our requests with all smiles and without hesitation. Place is very quiet and serene. We got our rooms at a very low price. Great value for money!

The location might not be ideal if you're expecting for stores and restaurants nearby. We also experienced water shortage on a Sunday morning which might be due to the place being fully booked and all the guests we're taking their showers simultaneously. Overall, it was still a good experience.

It was a large room that met all of our needs. The staff were super nice and they had free water. There were also lots of yummy restaurants around.
