Absolutely fantastic hotel! Staff is great, rooms are great. Conveniently located. If in Ashtabula definitely stay at the Riverbend hotel. Great hot breakfast included. Eat at Bridge city tavern. Walking distance. Great frood and brew.

I liked that it was only a year old and felt very fresh. Cleanliness was noticeable in all areas. All staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful - from the front desk to cleaning staff and employees I chatted with in the halls. It made my stay feel very relaxing and welcoming.
There seemed to be some mechanical issues with only one of two elevators working, an ice machine out of service on my floor, and a problem with accepting credit card info online. I believe all of these issues were being addressed.

Location, size of the room, the staff we loved it so clean too
We were only there 2 nights and the lift bar was closed on our last night for a private event. It was disappointing and it would of been nice to know that when we checked in.
