That I was told it was happy hour at the pool bar buy 1 get 1 free and was charged full price for all the drinks and was told that the staff member was informing us of the wrong information.

The whole resort is incredible

The hotel rooms were very spacious and the location was fantastic, being right on Kuta Beach. We loved having access to the three different pools, especially travelling with small children as it made it easy to spend our days at the hotel in the heat. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. The coffees available for purchase were amazing and definitely worth getting each day. We also really enjoyed the food available from the hotel menu — everything we ordered was delicious. The buffet breakfast, however, was a little hit and miss depending on the day.

The beds were extremely hard and the air conditioning was inconsistent, with the room often feeling warm. On one occasion the air conditioner also leaked water all over the room floor. Overall, the hotel feels quite outdated and in need of refurbishment, as a lot of things seemed to be breaking regularly. Service around the pool area was also very slow. It would often take a long time to get a server’s attention to order food or drinks, and even longer when wanting to order again. We also noticed other guests leaving rubbish, glasses and cigarette butts around the pool area despite bins being nearby, and staff didn’t seem to stay on top of cleaning this up regularly.
