Really dirty everywhere. Bedding seemed like it had already been slept on (numerous times). It felt unsafe with a flimsy door and a window that was at ground level. The staff had to change the code on the front door due to some “incident” with a male. The ratio of male to female onsite is overwhelmingly. I believe I was the only female within this large facility and there was a large number of males. I did not feel safe and did not sleep that night.

Absolutely nothing, we got back to the Hostel at midnight after going to a music venue in Sheffield and got up at 7.30 and left

I have never ever seen anything so unorganised, unkempt and dirty in my life. See the pictures they speak for themselves. Yes it was £40 for the night but I contemplated driving home. It was only because we had such a long day and our luggage was already in the room. I left in the morning without washing as I would have felt dirty after leaving the shower. The place smells and was not cleaned. Staff are there 11am to 11pm, what they actually do I don't know. I hope to get a refund from this stay but I'm sure it's unlikely. This is not a hostel, it's a homeless shelter. Stained mattresses, rubbish left under beds... I cannot go on as I feel dirty writing this. Please please do not stay at this property and ignore anything that says it's good.
