The Venus room at Glendower Homestead

loved all the little details such as freshly baked cake, delicious muesli, oat milk in the fridge, the locally made crockery and teas, the extra blankets for star gazing, the booklet about the house's heritage and the local area. I could go on and on. The place was super clean and well-presented. Loved the huge wall feature in the bathroom of the original pool. Vault visited a couple of times and was really into cuddles. We enjoyed a morning walk in the surrounding bush, checking out all the colourful fungi, whilst piwakawaka flitted about.

Lovely host, very tasty homemade cake and peaceful surroundings. Room had a comfortable bed and lots of attention to detail.

Loved the home made feijoa and ginger cake at arrival and overall luxury feel of the room and bathroom. Beautiful location and garden view.

Beautiful location, very comfortable room with thoughtful touches - a homemade cake on arrival, nice toiletries, excellent range of teas etc, blankets for sitting outside. Even a choice of pillows. Everything thought of. Recommend!

Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful setting.

The most amazing location, accommodation and lemon yoghurt cake. Wish we were staying longer. If ever back in the area will definitely book a longer stay.
