The Venus room at Glendower Homestead

Everything! It's such a beautiful spot, the serenity can't be beat! We took the opportunity to stop off on the way home from a wedding, and it was the perfect spot to rest and recuperate (we even had a cheeky bath!). The bed is amazing (loved the pillow selection), we both slept so well after a busy weekend. Everything you need for a platter and wine, or a morning cuppa is available. On that note, it's quite close to the village but definitely grab your groceries on the way there just so you don't have to leave - you won't want to! Thanks again for having us, we'll definitely be back! P.s Even if you're not doing a star gazing tour, I'd highly recommend going out and looking at the stars in the evening. Mind-blowing.

Friendly hosts, baked a cake for when your trip and they even leave a box so you can take it home. They think of everything!

Everything was just perfect. The location is stunning and the owners are lovely!

What a cute and relaxing place! We were blown away by the amenities - the hosts really go out of their way to anticipate your needs. Incredibly quiet and peaceful, it was the perfect spot to escape from the city. There is a great selection of teas and coffees, and the welcome cake was an amazing addition, we just wish we had bought a container to take the leftovers away with us!

The bed was a bit firm for our liking, but other than that we couldn't fault it!

Our stay here has been absolutely the best we've ever experienced. From the delightful homemade cake to the peaceful ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. The place is not only incredibly comfortable but also very clean. The bathtub was another highlight—we absolutely loved it. This place truly feels special, and we can't recommend it enough!
