The bed was not very comfortable.

I think the best part was proximity to work.

I was told and I mistakenly believed I booked three nights. On the third night (today) I get a call saying I have to leave and then house keeping knocked at the door at 1 pm as they were calling. They were telling me “you need to leave now or we will charge you for a late fee” in a very condescending tone. I was being treated like a criminal and I paid nearly 300 dollars for my stay. The door knobs are crystal. One of them was broken and I cut my hand on it. I was advertised a washer/dryer when there was not one and the building smelled of backwoods cigarettes.

We enjoyed our stay at Dreamy Escape.

The pictures show it to be bright and cozy. The overall location is not, the property is not. There was a broken glass doorknob that hadn’t been fixed nor mentioned and I cut my hand open. My unit was opened and ajar upon arrival, I called both the property and the secondary number shown at my booking to no avail. There has been no remedy given by the property only asking me for pictures or if I had a video after my check out. Your safety is absolutely compromised.

Apparently the owner has more than one property. We were given the address & codes to the wrong building & room. We gained access with those codes and walked in on another guest. The owner inconsiderate and unconcerned. She called me rude when I refused to allow her to gaslight me. How could I possibly get the address or codes without her -or Booking.com - sending them to me? She told me that I did not unlock the door with the codes even after I sent her a screenshot of the information sent through Booking.com. She told me that I went to the wrong room and opened and unlocked door. She blamed me for the mixup and didn’t understand why- or care- I didn’t feel comfortable staying in another of her properties. I was worried about someone else gaining access to my room and chose to get a hotel. Also the room simply had a mattress on the floor. I rented a one bedroom apartment - not a room with a mattress for almost $200. I am still waiting for a refund. It was out anniversary and we had to change in the car to get ready in time for dinner reservations and then find a hotel.

Hot water and easy walk to restaurants and bars.

Loud. Sits on a busy street and traffic runs all night. Air unit right be bed is loud. Could not sleep. Back door doesn't lock. Parking not well lit.
