The staff was friendly.

Disappointing experience. The breakfast was very basic and definitely not up to European standards. ​The cleanliness was also a major issue. We had bats nesting outside our room, leaving droppings all over the balcony and pool area. To make matters worse, the pool was never cleaned during our stay, so we weren't even able to use it. Proper maintenance and hygiene should be a priority for this establishment."

We had the most comfortable stay ever in Ubud. What stood out the most was the care the staff showed during Nyepi. Even though they were also observing this important occasion, they still made sure we were well taken care of and well fed. We were very touched by their dedication. Our stay included complimentary breakfast, as well as afternoon tea with lovely Balinese cakes, which was a very nice touch. The villa also provides useful services such as a complimentary shuttle to Ubud Central (just remember to book in advance), as well as laundry and spa services. The location is convenient, Ubud Central is not very far. If traffic gets heavy, we actually recommend (slow) walking as it takes about 30 minutes and can be faster than driving. The villa itself is very peaceful and quiet, perfect if you want proper rest. We slept very well every night. There are also good eateries nearby like 7am Diner and Titi Batu Ubud Club Restaurant. If you want to work out, there are gyms nearby too, including Fitness Ubud and the gym at Titi Batu. Overall, we highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay with very hospitable service.

We had an amazing time at Kanhara Villa in Bali. The villa is new and well maintained and clean. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, especially the local Indonesian dishes. The location was ideal for us, close to the centre of Ubud but in a secluded area surrounded by greenery. There is a Kmart and some restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-min walk of the villa. We were initially a little concerned when we noticed there were only two air-conditioning units for the entire villa, especially given how hot Bali can be. However, this turned out not to be an issue at all—the air-conditioning was extremely effective and kept the villa pleasantly cool throughout our stay.

De kamer is prachtig. Het personeel heel vriendelijk. Maken het graag naar je zin. Makkelijke communicatie via Whatsapp, maar er is ook altijd iemand bij de receptie. De afternoon tea was een leuk extraatje. Wat fijne restaurants in directe omgeving (bijv Sacred Rice was erg goed - met 2x per week een speciaal optreden - Wedja in een bijzondere omgeving).

We misten een ruim terras zodat je lekker buiten kunt zitten. Er is wel een stoel en tafeltje, maar je zit bijna in het zwembad. En pas op voor wie moeite heeft met trap lopen: de trap is vrij steil en slechts voor een deel voorzien van een trapleuning. Koelkastje is wat krap, maar past allemaal net.

Excellent experience overall, wonderful daily berakfasts in the room including fresh curcumin juice and a generous meal, staff were beyond pleasant, friendly, helpful, the place was always clean, felt very safe, gerat location, walking distance to restaurants, gym, and easy scooter ride to the central area within 7 mins, absolutely recommend
