Bright Old Town City Centre Apartment

Nothing to the property. It was too close to everything and was loud till late night, but it didn’t bother us.

Perfect located in the middle of the city.

Everything was great. As it‘s in the city center, it can be a bit noisy in the night but we slept great anyway, it wasn‘t a problem for us :)

Excellent location, right on Grassmarket but with the double glazing keeping the flat quiet. Spacious rooms too.

No TV, were you to want one.

The location is the biggest selling point of this apartment for us. Very central, near Edinburgh castle and right by Grassmarket square. So if you only have a few days in the city then this is perfect to maximize your time. That said, it is not the quietest area since it is right on top of pubs and restaurants, so if you are sensitive to that then please take note. This could be solved by just not opening the windows so you don't get disturbed by the noise outside. We also like how spacious the apartment is, full of light and tastefully decorated. We used the record player that they had in the living room. It is also nice that it has a fully functional kitchen - and bonus that there was instant coffee provided. I like that it felt like more or less a "real" apartment (even with cutlery for kids!) and because of that I think it's good for traveling with family.

We don't have any major complaints, really. Maybe just a clarification that the apartment is on the third floor, not second. (For us, we consider that the ground floor is floor 1, and not 0.)

Well managed apartment, well equipped kitchen and nice facility. Location was very good.

Staircase and way could be improved and better cleaned.

Very good location in the Old Town a short walk from the Castle and other attractions, large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, collection of key worked well, good communication from host.

Awful shared entry stairwell that is really off-putting, apartment is up four flights of stairs, small bathroom and old-fashioned shower (works okay), some street noise early morning and late at night, strings of extension leads to provide enough sockets for most lights.

Beautiful bright apartment in central location. Surprisingly quiet given right in the middle of the Grassmarket. Only issue is the main door at street level is a little tricky to open, could do with a new lock/key. Callum kindly allowed us to store our luggage in apartment until we departed for our train at 2pm, thank you!
