Central Todmorden 2 Bedroom Apartment

My daughter and I arrived at the property and were very disappointed to find dirty valance sheets which had obviously not been changed from the last person/s. There were stains on the furniture and we noticed a strong damp/chemical smell. A painted radiator cover was hanging off in bedroom 1 and the wooden trim around the property was in disrepair. The owner had insisted on a £200 deposit to be paid prior to arrival in case of damage to the property which seemed totally unfair as it was already damaged! The view from both bedrooms overlooked a graveyard....This was not a distant view - we estimated that a headstone was within a few feet of each bedroom (photographs can be provided). We feel that the owner should have disclosed the proximity to the graveyard in their description of their rental property. We informed booking.com who confirmed that the owner would cancel the stay and we would be refunded. We left the property within 30 minutes of arriving there and had to find alternative accommodation. We are still awaiting a refund and booking.com have said the owner is not responding to their communication.

Immaculately clean and perfectly located

Very modern beautifully decorated apartment, very spacious and open planned and smelt wonderful,really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend.has all the basic necessities you will need while staying there and everything was easy to find/use. There is a graveyard next door and from both bedroom/kitchen windows you have a view of ,to me personally I loved it and the wildlife I could see just from the bedroom window alone. Literally a minute or so walk into the centre where all the shops are and a couple minutes walk around the corner from a Morrisons .Overall great experience definitely will be booking again!

The bed unfortunately wasn't the comfiest, the mattress was rock solid, something to take in consideration if you can't/don't like to sleep on a hard mattress. Finding how to actually get to the door took us a minute to figure out can be a little confusing

In a lovely location a short walk into Todmorden with plenty of parking available. Very comfortable space for 3 people. Plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Check in and out very easy. Hosts very attentive.

Some kitchen products were empty but hosts were very attentive and helpful in resolving it. Can't fault anything about the place!

Very well presented with tasteful decor and quality furnishings. Very comfortable for 2 couples in a fantastic location for access to Todmorden. Nice touches such as tea/coffee and milk on arrival. Very responsive and helpful hosts, will definitely try to book the apartment again if we return to the area.
