The Monochrome Suite at Ryedale House - Free Parking

Excennent communication prior to stay. Apartment was lovely and location right in the middle of York. Parking was safe and no hassle - worth paying extra for secure parking.

The location is excellent. The place was easy enough to check in and the parking was organised prior. The furnishings are decent.

Cleanliness - every dish, cup, cutlery, kitchenware etc was dirty. Even more frustrating was the fact the place has 2 glasses (for water etc) - it’s a two bedroom house, and so not enough for everyone. Additionally the place doesn’t provide washing up liquid, so we went and bought some and left it at the place because it everything was dirty. For a whole 69p surely the place can provide this going forward. Bed had dirt particles on the duvet. I should have more carefully read the reviews which do note similar things. Note: no nespresso machine is present- have advised and said they would change the description. Few lights don’t work, and front room was quite noisy with traffic. The property management was average- didn’t do anything when we mentioned a few things, just said we will try and action going forward.

We loved the flat! It’s very spacious and well fitted. And the location is superb. It is walking distance to the center of the old town.

There was street noise as the flat is on the first floor and fronting the road. But it is not a deal breaker at all.

Good location to city centre. Spacious apartment nicely decorated

It could have been cleaner, floors and tables were dusty. It is lacking in crockery (cups and glasses) which may have been broken over time. It was a particularly hot weekend and air con would have been a bonus, but there was fans in each room. Sat nav doesn’t take you to the correct location. Some directions on the road would have been useful.

The apartment complex was very secure, the entry was very clean and welcoming. The apartment was comfortable and had a balcony which was comfortable to sit out on although the outlook was onto the main road. The apartment was decorated to a high standards. It was easy walking distance to the city centre and places of interest and eateries.

I had difficulty opening the information provided via email with regards to directions to the property and entry. The owner could provide a few more kitchen items especially tumblers/glasses. ( there was only 2).
