Beautiful views and very peaceful and quiet. Nice selection of choices for breakfast in our room.

Be aware there is a 15 mile single track road to access the property.

We loved everything about this gorgeous little cottage. It was fabulously fitted out, with loads of really thoughtful touches to make it very homely & cosy. Its very tastefully decorated & immaculately clean. The host Ruth, was really wonderful & nothing was too much trouble. It honestly felt as if we’d always known her. She left a huge hamper of food for our breakfasts & a fridge full of goodies too, which was really appreciated & so kind of her.

There was nothing we disliked…it was all fab & we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ruth & her cosy wee cottage.

Sweet wee cottage. Ruth was great - giving us lots of options of places to visit and going out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The roads are newly sealed so only the occasional pothole. Lots of personal touches. The breakfast and snack basket was very impressive! If you are looking for a cosy, peaceful and isolated spot to stay with incredible views you won’t be disappointed.

Lokalizacja dla osób które chcą podróżować codziennie i zwiedzać wyspę SKY niezbyt dogodna . Od głównej drogi należy przejechać ok 28 km kręta jednopasmową drogą zajmowało to ok 40 min czyli dziennie ponad godzina dodatkowej jazdy. Jeśli chcesz tam zostać i cieszyć się samotnością i widokami to lokalizacja bardzo dobra.

Niestety nie ma kuchenki, tylko mikrofala wiec przygotowanie posiłków nie jest proste, a w okolicy trudno o restauracje

Ruth was an excellent and friendly host and thought of all the little things which make a stay comfortable. She went out of her way to accommodate us for an early arrival and we were delighted with the snack hamper and tunnocks on arrival. The view and serenity of the location are both hard to beat. The space itself is small but comfortable and nicely furnished. We did have an issue with an expiring smoke alarm but Ruth was very responsive and over within 2 mins of messaging her to help sort it out. Love this area and would highly recommend staying with Ruth!
