Location fabulous Staff so welcoming and made our stay perfect. They sourced a local cake and ballon’s for my son’s birthday Will definitely be back

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant offered a great variety of dining options. We had breakfast in the morning, which was amazing, cooked to perfection by the lady in the kitchen.

Location was amazing, weather was lovely so being sat out front was peaceful and bliss. Room is cozy and well decorated. Staff were polite and accommodating with a quality breakfast in the morning.

The only downside to the stay was the bed (mattress) was genuinely really uncomfortable nights sleep. I don’t think it would stop me staying again but I wouldn’t be able to stay more than one night as me and the wife both didn’t sleep well. The only thing I could recommend to improve this place is the mattress other than that it’s 10/10 would 100% recommend.

Rooms, decor & furniture where of a high standard. The location is beautiful, by a river, very old bridge & a castle. Very close to Alton Towers.

No towels in the room when we arrived & had to request them. Shower pipe connecting to shower head was very grimey. (Black grime) Having to walk through a tight, packed restaurant to get to your room. The clipboard with paper on in the room explaining about the hotel & area was stained/dirty & a new one should of been printed off. Very easy fix.
