Attention aux poutres quand on est grand J'aurais apprécié un store opaque aux fenêtres pour ne pas être réveillé trop tôt mais c'est un détail

Maison pleine d'histoire, emplacement idéal pour visiter les alentours du Mt Fuji, l'accueil par la famille qui tient cette maison a été incroyable, avec une leçon d'histoire sur le lieu, petit déjeuner au top entièrement fait maison...mais fille ne voulait plus partir!!! Merci encore pour votre accueil.

Une famille géniale dans cette vieille maison de plus de 400ans chargée d'histoire c'était magnifique hâte de revenir Merci beaucoup

I loved character of the place, tatami mats , squeaky floors, and all the history. Our hosts were sharing history. Breakfast was tasty. Super clean. Loved dining / living room with the fire, so cozy.

Everything was perfect

It was really cool to learn about the history of the oshi, mt Fuji and the house. It’s also a really cool experience to sleep in an old Japanese oshi house. There is also a cafe where you can drink tea. We really liked this place. And the owners were really helpful and nice.

The only thing is going to bathroom etc is a bit cold (when it’s autumn or just colder weather) but very understandable because it’s an old house. And also adds to the experience. The room and cafe were warmed really well so no big complaints. It was a really fun experience.

Very friendly and homely place. The history is super interesting and was the perfect place for relaxing and resting before the Fujisan hike. Beautiful stay!

The housekeeper was friendly though. The view on the Mount Fuji was good. There are a lot of good restaurants near by. The train station is a 15 minutes walk.

I really don’t get why the accomondation is rated so highly !! It is really not a 6,7,8,9 or even 10!! First of all the worst: You are NOT able to lock your own room ! The house is always open , even at night !!!!We stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights and had to sleep on the second floor. We saw pictures and we informed ourselves about the guesthouse. But we never could have imagined being it that bad for that price (10.000 Yen per person per night) ! There was a huge spider and we felt like we were sleeping in a junk room , because the housekeeper stored her own suitcases and clothes and other things in the room that one would otherwise keep in one's attic.. We stayed at other hostels (lower price) with free onsen , very low priced breakfast (buffet, free coffee, tea and water ), free ramen !! while you have to pay 1000 Yen in this guesthouse for a very small breakfast (coffee and muesli ) . That is ridiculous! It wasn‘t that clean. Other people in the hostel were not able to clean after using the restroom . There was only one soap (but not in the toilet room..) . The shared trash can was always overflowing. The house was very noisy. Kids of the housekeeper are running through their house at 5 am - you can hear that !!
