Cherry Cottage, Youlgrave Nr Bakewell

Great location and a good base to see the Peak District.

Garden has a good aspect but could do with a little more planting and the external decorations look a little tired.

The location was excellent. Very quiet and could go hiking from the door.

The cottage was rather basically furnished and a big tired.

Our second visit. Excellent location for walks and exploring the area. Great food at The Bulls Head which is just a short walk away. The cottage is comfortable and the Welcome pack much appreciated.

Lack of cloth storage in bedrooms. Would be nice to have a garden umbrella as there is little shade. We also had a leak from the shower into the living room as reported by someone in April. (Video and photos available if required. )

The porch, with a bench, radiator and coat hooks is brilliant for when you get back from a walk, so you can get any wet /muddy gear off before you go into the house. Excellent location for the lovely walks alongside the amazingly clear river, and good selection of pubs with a good selection of good (especially recommended the food in the Farmyard Inn!)

A very nice cottage, well appointed and comfortable. It's located in an excellent spot for walking and within easy reach of shops and pubs.
