2 Bedroom Fully Furnished Apartment near Emory University Hospital Midtown

I loved the space of this property! It was great for one person, or even two. Spacious bed, and very comfortable too. The property was in a convenient location, not too far from Downtown. Hosts were responsive and flexible with me when I decided to book an extra night thank you! I also loved the balcony!

I did not have access to the gym which would’ve been nice! That’s it.

There are several safety and other issues with this apartment that I pointed out to the property owner Pelican Residences upon arrival, yet they chose to ignore all complaints and not fix anything during my stay. Please see photos here that I sent to property management at arrival: Smoke detector covered with plastic bag but too high in the ceiling for me to fix, broken towel rack & dresser drawer, master bedroom closet full with women's and children's underwear (along with dirty linens and a spare bed in the closet, perhaps so the cleaner could live in the apartment between rentals and smoke without the alarm going off?), and key fobs present in the room that don't work. Read past reviews - many of these complaints were raised by at least one other reviewer in March of 2024 and nothing has been fixed. Avoid Pelican Residences at all costs. The exact reply I received was: "Your safety is our priority, and we are committed to making necessary improvements. We have escalated this matter to our team, especially our onsite staff, to ensure it is addressed during future cleanings and inspections." -> You're offering other fix a safety issue AFTER someone checks out? Smoke alarm issue hasn't been fixed since being pointed out publicly in a review in March 2024. Regarding key fobs not working, I was first told in writing to take the key fobs to the apartment management and ask them to reprogram the keys myself. I was then told a few days later in writing not to do this, as the key fobs don't work for this building and they are only provided for fun. Please ignore any responses to this review from Pelican Residences which might state similar things as you'll see in other reviews such as "We apologize for the inconvenience, wish you had said something during your stay so we could have taken some action": All issues were raised in writing during my stay and Pelican chose to do nothing.

The place was in close to nearly everything. A nice brunch spot was right beside this stay.

The parking wasn’t included, which is fine but that’s something I’d like to be aware of prior to booking. The main bedroom’s light/fan didn’t work. They didn’t have any towels at all. It was a total of 4 of us, after 2 people showered each time, the water would get cold. They left a note informing us that it’ll be that way, so I’m guessing that’s a norm.

Modern furniture, it was decorated really well, and it had lots of amenities while being close to downtown Atlanta. This property has an updated gym, business meeting area and many entertainment spaces. I had a nice view of the city from the private balcony.

I didn’t like that this wasn’t my permanent home! Everything was nice, upscale and a complete vibe. I will miss staying at this property.
