“The environment was unclean, and there was a lot of noise coming from the occupants in the next room. The bedding was very dirty and covered with hair, seemingly left by the previous guest who stayed there.”

I liked the location

The cleanliness of the property. There was no soap in the bathroom. There were chicken bones in the back garden. There were stains on the duvet cover leading us to think the bedding wasn't washed or changed. No tv controller for the tv in the bedroom. Check in was not smooth.

Nothing

I ended up not even staying in the room. I got to the house at 11pm, and since it said that check-in was between 3pm and midnight, I put in the code, and it doesn't work. I called them and the man on the phone said that the room that I had booked wasn't available and that I needed to go to another house. I'm just wondering why they didn't decide to tell me earlier that the room I got wasn't available anymore. Then I drove to the new house just to find that there was no parking space available for me. The only parking available was on the street, but that is permit holder park only. I call them again saying there is no parking available and he just tells me that if I park on the street no one will notice and it will be fine. I proceeded to tell him that I would not risk it as I dont want to get a fine and I would like my refund. I kept insisting on the refund, and he kept insisting I park on the street. He then proceeds to tell me that doing a refund is too much work and too much of a hassle for him. When he said that, I just wanted my refund even more. I then complained to booking.com but they didn't even answer me back. It's been 3 days, and they said they would get back to me in 24 hours. Safe to say that I will never use booking.com or book any rooms anymore. Hotels for me only from now on. Basically, I ended up not having a room to sleep, and I lost my money.

NOTHING

The person in charge forcefully entered the room and started to shout to leave at 15:30. He was rude and was trying to fight with us. Also, threatened us by saying that " Do you want me to create a scene?" and blocked our way to go outside the room until we give him £20 cash for late checkout. I explained that there is nowhere mentioned the timing in the booking. We were about to leave anyway. But this man kept screaming and asking for money. I am going to leave a negative review on Google about booking.com and this property. I booked this place for business purposes and trusted booking.com. But it was a really bad experience.
