Honeysuckle Cottage & Whinfell Studio

Really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely loved the hot tub - just what I needed for that relaxing experience. The place was well decorated, clean and had pretty much everything you needed for a weekend. There is a B&M around the corner that you can walk to and the town is also a walk away. The studio was super cosy!

My only issue was the parking situation. There was a car parked in the free space that we were told to park our car in for the entire stay. There’s a large car park that you pay to park in just outside though - so that helped.

The property is in a good location, close to lots of shops. It is very clean and welcoming as you enter. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a meal in the evening (providing our own food). The hottub was clean and easy to use.

The parking designated to the property wasn’t available as there was another car parked there. This wasn’t a big issue as there’s a carpark around the corner but could be an issue if you have lots of stuff to carry or need accessible parking.

Lovely little cottage, well decorated throughout. Hot tub area also great. Cleanliness was really good. Instructions to access the property were also good.

The double bed isn’t great, really slopes down into the middle, didn’t get a great night sleep. Bushes by the parking space could really do with being trimmed!

the location was lovely Penrith seemed like a nice town and the interior of the property was nicely decorated on arrival.

The room was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, it was unclear whether the booking was made for the studio or the cottage and pictures of both are on the listing. The hot tub was unquestionably overchlorinated and was not properly cleaned as we found an old plaster in it, something of a mood killer. I've gained a rash for my troubles, definitely from the chlorine.

Was a lovely area and the property was gorgeous !! Nothing to complain about, was clean and a delight to stay in. Very spacious. Overall very pleased with our stay. Excited to come back and will definitely recommend to family and friends!
