Very close to city centre, and though there were loud bars nearby, my room was located where the sound couldn't reach enough to disturb me. Great to have private bathroom and kitchen. A good Tesco express literally minutes from the accommodation.

The WiFi didn't work so the TV couldn't get any of the apps I would have liked to wind down in the evening (but I did end up watching terrestrial TV instead which was fine).

"Convenient place to stay"

7.0

Location is fantastic. Staff is amazing and really helpful. It is good value for money, having your own room, bathroom and kitchen.

The room could have done with some basic items, such as a bedside lamp, hairdryer and some more kitchen utensils. The shower and fridge had also not been cleaned properly.

"Nice time in Northern East England near the boundary with Scotland..."

10.0

Very well located in the centre of the city and walking distance or 2 metro stops of the railway station. The staff are very nice and helpful, they are there 24/7 which is rare these days. There is a Tesco extra, ie grocery store 1 minute from there. The studio normally for students was spacious enough and well equipped. Newcastle upon Tyne is a very nice city. From there I could go to Durham to see the cathedral and the castle. And Berwick upon Tweed, an amazing small fortified town near the Scottish border.

Nothing, it was a delight to be there.
