Very nice perfect cottage, on a beautidul location on walking distance from Melrose. Jane is a lovely host.

Small electric plate to warm a soup or boil an egg would have been nice.

"Hospitable Haven"

Everything! Complete home from home. Easy to find, very comfortable, very quiet yet just 15 minute walk into Melrose. Birdsong and great garden space. Excellent tv and wi fi. Could happily live here

Mill Cottage is a lovely garden studio to enjoy a peaceful, quiet, relaxing and comfortable few days away from the busyness of daily life. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Jane, a perfect host, who took the time to chat when I arrived. For me personally, this was an ideal retreat. I hope to return in the autumn, to enjoy a longer stay and benefit from the peace and tranquillity it gave me. Thank you, Jane.x

"Comfortable studio in excellent location"

The studio is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. It is bright and airy and has good heating. It has a lovely shower room with a very good shower. Jane is an excellent host and provided valuable local information and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. The location is very handy for Melrose, a 15 minute walk, and also close to get onto the A68 for exploring the local area or further afield into Edinburgh.
