This was the most disgusting hotel ever. It's so dirty. Toilets don't work, bathrooms are not clean. Terrible smell. Linen not washed. In such a bad area. Worst hotel ever.

The *not-actually-free* breakfast was decent (eggs, toast, and masala chai). The staff did try to help when we had issues with our door key, though it took a while to resolve. I'm not sure what else to write here.

The worst hotel either of us have stayed at. The first room had no towels or phone, dirty bed sheets, and a desk chair with bird poop on it. We went to the reception to change rooms. (Big mistake.) We were told to leave our luggage in the old room, but nobody ever retrieved it for us. Another trip to the reception. (Elevator was often on the fritz.) Our replacement room had "plumbing issues": the bathroom sink drained into a bucket we had to empty into the toilet ourselves. At least that turned out to be useful, because the toilet didn't flush on its own. No hot water. No toilet paper. The bed sheets were dirtier than before (with some gross brown/green spots I had to wipe off). When we left our room that night for food/water and returned, our key couldn't unlock the door. Several members of the staff tried in vain to brute-force it, until someone finally managed it 15 minutes later. At least they couldn't have predicted this, but it only added to the comedy of errors and dysfunction. There were several brief power outages during our stay (thankfully not while we were in the elevator), but we're not sure if that was a hotel or local issue. We paid for the free breakfast with our booking, and the food was actually decent (or maybe we were just very hungry). We got eggs, toast, and masala chai. The first day we decided to get another round, which we were told we had to pay for, since only one plate was free (fine). Upon checking out we were informed that we owed the hotel even more money, because the food items we got were not included in their definition of "free breakfast." Of course we weren't informed about this when we were ordering, or when we paid for our second round the previous day. They said "we should have asked." Contrast this with the similarly-priced hotels we stayed at elsewhere in India where breakfast was all-you-can-eat.

Booking was cancelled on arrival, staff was completely unprofessional, sketchy and not helpful at all. Please dont be deceived by the pictures. The place is dirty and smelly.
