GBGBAlthough the kitchen and bathroom look a little dated the fridge is modern and so is the heating. Therefore, it was beautifully warm when we arrived which is welcome in February. The decoration is beautiful, parking was easy (I was worried with it being on street parking and arriving quite late) and it was very clean. The beds were comfortable and was also quite quiet and was extremely close to shops, restaurants etc... I loved the different levels of all the rooms, the gorgeous floorboards and soothing colours used to decorate. Yes, it has stairs but these for me were part of the charm of the property. The bathroom is not on the same level as the bedrooms but the owners have used movement sensing low level lights so going between the bathroom and bedrooms is really not a problem. (If you're OK with stairs). Barnard Castle is a lovely town with scenic walking routes straight from the town, the castle was worth visiting., we found good restaurants and cafes too.
GBGBWe loved our stay here!!,the apartment was alot bigger than we thought , beautifully decorated and the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch as was the welcoming gift thankyou.Loved all the furniture and fittings.Great location 2 mins walk to were the shops etc are,it,s a very warm and cosy apartment beds were very comfortable aswell and the large kitchen was well equipped,We would also recommend visiting the pub opposite The old well inn for food and drinks,staff were really welcoming and friendly the the food was amazing.Thanks for a great stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

The stairs may put some people off if a bit older as stairs up to living area and stairs up to bedrooms -but manageable with care
GBThe apartment was beautiful, very comfortable, warm and cosy, the furnishings were perfect and really suited the feel of the place. It was very clean and close to all the things we wanted to see and some good pubs and places to eat. Just lovely!

GBLocation, not far from the town centre. You can control the heating. Well equipped kitchen. Place to sit outside. It's 1980's fittings have been well maintained. Is a good size and has a lovely, homely feel. Dishwasher tablets and wash powder provided.
Windows a bit dirty and a few cobwebs. No egg cups. There are a lot of steps and the only bathroom is next to the living room. Not convenient if you need to go in the night!
