Kura Kura House

Super schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir verlängert haben. Die Hütten sind super ausgestattet, inkl. Wasserspender im Zimmer. Alles ist sehr sauber und das Frühstück sowie alle weiteren Speisen sehr lecker. Es lohnt sich auch abends hier zu essen. Uns wurde bei allem sofort geholfen: Transport, Surfguide, Roller, Visaverlängerung etc. Zusätzlich noch zu erwähnen ist die Yogaplattform, das kleine Fitnessstudio (beides genutzt) und die Deckenventilatoren selbst auf der Veranda, die die Mücken abhält.

Alles hat gefallen. Der Weg von der Hauptstraße zum Hotel ist etwas holprig, aber auch für Rolleranfänger zu meistern und nur kurz

Great accomodation at a super reasonable price in a great location just near the surf, the food was priced well and huge portions and most of all the staff and owners Dan and Bezzy were the nicest people ever.

Owners were great, and Zee, who was lovely, made my stay even better 🙂 Food is not only the best in the area, but possibly best Western food I've ever had in Indonesia (and I have travelled the country far and wide) - amazing flavours, big portions. Room and gardens etc are beautifully presented, with lots of lovely little thoughtful details and extra touches (I loved all the flowers). Sauna and ice bath are a cool extra feature. I don't surf, so aside from visiting some local beaches and restaurants, I had no reason to leave this little slice of paradise 😁

Nothing. But I would suggest a bathmat in the rooms. I used the smaller towel but I think it was meant to be a hand towel 🙂

Kura kura house is a little slice of paradise. This is our first time in Sumbawa but I am pretty sure this accommodation will be hard to beat. The cottages are comfortable clean and well thought out. We don’t surf so just came here to relax during our 6 month tour of Indonesia and the pool area and grounds offered a perfect place to do such. Bezzy and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves superb food you will not go hungry that’s for sure 😁

There is a construction site next door - on the first night worked carried on well into the early hours of the morning. BUT during our stay we heard little noise so overall was not a problem but just something to be aware of. Also they had run out of the frozen margaritas so a little disappointed we missed out! Maybe next time!

The food, ice bath, sauna, bed. The buildings and grounds and restaurant is beautiful.

The open air toilets. Very nice design and construction. I just can’t deal with mosquitoes too well. Plenty of mosquitoes in the toilet area. I also moved to a space directly on the beach. This location was a little ways away from the beach.

We stayed at Kura Kura House for a week and honestly didn’t want to leave. The whole place is absolutely stunning and the food was exceptional (easily some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia). We ate there every night and each meal blew us away. What really made it unforgettable though was the team. Zee and the crew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, looked after, and totally at home. They brought so much warmth and personality to the experience and it truly wouldn’t have been the same without them.We’ll absolutely be back. A real gem of a place.

Option of mosquito nets would be a nice addition

Fabulous staff. Amazing grounds. Spectacular pool. Delicious and healthy food. Has a little gym, sauna and ice bath (but I didn't use). Highly recommend the frozen margaritas!. Comfy room - we were in a Surfers shack but it was great and all we needed. I cannot recommend staying here enough.
