Its proximity to the ferry

Very dated, expensive for food and alcohol , and cleanliness wasn’t the best

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Eine verspätete Anreise wäre problemlos möglich gewesen.

Die Heizung ließ sich nicht anschalten, auch nicht im Bad, ich hätte einge Kleidungsstücke trocknen müssen. Zimmer hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen (Flecken und abblätternde Farbe)

We were not disappointed with the stunning view! And almost everything in the hotel was great: the welcoming reception space, the large restaurant, very comfortable bedding, a nice desk, all of which spotlessly clean. Staff members were also very helpful in assisting us with multiple queries, such as providing another bedside lamp because one was broken.

The walls are a bit thin, but that is only an issue if you have noisy neighbours.

Close to train station and to local beach. Simple and comfortable

The staff was very friendly, our check-in process was very pleasant, and we got recommendations on what to do in the evening - we booked to have dinner at the hotel (which was very nice, and had sufficient vegetarian options!) and visited the suggested Morar Beach. The sunset we saw from our sea view room was incredible.

No complaints.

View of the loch was lovely, and the location to the ferry was great. Dog friendly.

Everything else. Loud, dirty (stains on sheets, witnessed toilets being cleaned with a spray bottle and air freshener, everyone woke up with dozens of bug bites), minimum effort management style (had to request electricity and heating to the room to be switched on, lights kept failing, kitchen only open on pre-order request, reception and bar and restaurant and reception not open when we arrived with a "not open until 3pm" sign on display to explain it, bed was very squeaky)
