The Morar Hotel

As a long-standing customer of the Booking.com platform, I booked Morar Hotel in good faith based on the information provided in the listing and communications with the hotel. However, I believe the hotel created a misunderstanding by advising that the property could be reached within 1-2 hours by car, without disclosing that the route required travel by ferry. At the time of my booking, the ferry service had already ceased operating for the day. The only alternative was to travel entirely by road, which the hotel told me that it takes 3-4hours of driving, making it impossible for me to arrive at the hotel that night.

Not honest, aiming to make money on customer's misunderstanding.

View from the dinning room is excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good Parking. opposite the local railway station for viewing the Jacobite Steam Train. Good Parking. Comment: A partner hotel to the Onich Hotel. (menu exactly the same.)

Like the Onich, there is something missing, but can't quite get what. Sorry, but this is not a 3* hotel. Room was missing a bed side table !?! Room was cold on arrival, (it was a cool Scottish day.) Only a basic set of towels There is an ongoing improvement to our last stay, but still needs work with some of the team in the restaurant.
