The Morar Hotel

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good food in silver sands restaurant for dinner. Did not have breakfast as catching early ferry. The rooms are basic but clean and bedding fresh and clean. It is a no frills hotel, but we had no complaints. Maybe a little overpriced .

The location of the hotel and the views from the room are superb. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the whole hotel feels as if it is in need of a refresh. It feels like a hotel that has been allowed to slip with the rooms not decorated appropriately for the cost. This makes the prices charged for accommodation and food high for what was actually delivered. This however, from looking into accommodation anywhere near the NC500 route, seems to be depressingly normal.

Friendly staff, excellent location, bedroom with see view spectacular, food good- recommend the highland curry with all the trimmings. Best quality price ratio this side of Skye.

Bedroom features other than the comfortable bed is a little limited.

Friendly and helpful staff with a warm welcome....sea view room was great and hotel facilities excellent if a little dated.

Slight problem with washbasin plug (which I forgot to report, I must say). No lift, but assistance given with luggage to room so no complaints

Die Aussich von unserem Zimmer im 2.OG war toll. Das Restaurant im Haus ist schön und dass Essen schmeckt toll. Tuan hat uns sehr zuvorkommend behandelt und konnte sogar gut Deutsch.

Bad war nicht sauber, das Bett war viel zu weich, zum Teil durchgelegen. Trotz Anmerkung am 1. Tag bezüglich der Sauberkeit im Bad und der Zusage, dass es gereinigt wird, passiere nichts! Zum Check out war kein Rezeptionspersonal verfügbar, auch nicht über die Klingel oder die Telefonnummer. Also mussten wir das Reinigungspersonal suchen, welche dann jemanden vom Restaurant holte (sind dafür eigentlich nicht zuständig).

The view & friendliness were spectacular & it was a fabulous bonus to have an exquisite restaurant on-site. Travelling alone I just booked a single room which was very last minute, but the staff were really accommodating & lovely.

It was a bit aged but everything else outweighed that.

La situation est superbe avec une vue magnifique sur les plages de sable blancs, près de la gare ou passe le jacobite train de Harry Potter. Pas de bruits spacieux et un très bon accueil de Tuan et Akram. Très pratique pour une étape vers Skye.
