The Little Barn

Magical little barn in a picturesque setting. Surrounded by dark skies where on a clear night the stars light up beautifully. Romantic retreat, exceptionally well furnished and designed. Superb dog stay where they can roam around safely within the woodland grounds. They really made my 50th birthday with the very thoughtful personal touches. The hosts were genuinely lovely people and couldn't do enough to make ours a memorable stay.

On arrival, we received a friendly welcome from Caron and were shown into the Little Barn. What's the saying? Good things come in little packages...well, it's certainly true in this case. The interior of the little barn is perfectly proportioned and has everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay, and it was spotlessly clean. My partner and I booked this for a relaxing weekend away from the stresses of everyday life, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

Wow... There are only positive words we can say about The Little Barn. It was so relaxing, incredibly clean and well made. We had such a wonderful time here and we can't wait to come back. The owners are so friendly and easy to chat to, while giving you space when you're in the barn. Can't fault it, what a special find.

The location of the property is amazing very rural and great for a quiet secluded getaway. It has plenty of outside space that is exclusively yours for the stay, which includes woodland walkway basketball court (if your feeling energetic) outside sun deck veranda with seating and table for alfresco dining fully equipped kitchen the bed was spacious and very comfortable. VERY dog friendly with lots of off lead places to roam. all in all a very relaxing place, would be the ideal place for a wellness/meditation retreat.

For us there wasn't anything that we didn't like. But for other people the LITTLE barn is compact, the space is made up for by the outside areas, saying that there was enough space for the two of us and two dogs. it is rural, so you will see deer wandering through in the mornings, and plenty of wildlife. There is about 15 min drive to most places but plenty of places to peruse and eat.

Absolutely fabulous stay with wonderful hosts Caron & Guy. So modern and stylish inside and absolutely perfect. Every detail has been thought of and we couldn't ask for any more. Our dog was having the best time and didn't want to leave! Was so perfect for her! Can't wait to stay again
