The staff did help when we had questions about where a nearby market or nearby restaurants were located, but that was the only pro and this benefit can easily be found at better hotels. The view was nice. You can see the ocean, some of the city, and Vinpearl. The hotel was close to Vinpearl's cable car station.

The bathroom smelled like urine. Upon opening the bathroom door, you're hit with a wave of urine odor. There's also an extremely prominent yellow stain at the corner of the shower. Both the shower and toilet smelled. The air conditioning was awful. It was weak. Even after putting it on the max setting, the room never stayed that cold. The employee at the front desk told us to make sure all the doors were closed. We have no patio door. Why would we leave the front door open for strangers to look in on our room? And there's no way we would leave the piss-smelling bathroom door open. It was rank. So of course we would close all the door. That's a silly suggestion. The room was also very small despite her saying it was the largest room they offer. You have to climb up two slippery flight of stairs. I was constantly terrified of falling and breaking my neck. The location is pretty bad. It's far from the downtown area and every time you want to go out and have fun, you need to call a taxi or Grabs car because the heat is brutal to walk in.

Excellent hotel that seemed to be under renovation. When done might be a budget friendly option, accessible from center and friendly staff. Only downside was there was no hot water, might have been faulty during construction.
