The Ferry House

Wanted a balcony in order to see city of seattle.

The location was great - walking distance to the Seacrest Water Taxi to Seattle. Adriana was a great host, responded to a change I wanted to make immediately and very graciously. The property was very clean, the kitchen very well equipped. There were really nice touches - a great tv, a clothes steamer and iron/ironing board, suggestions for local restaurants, coffee, a bottle of wine - really awesome. Sparkling clean.

No view from our lower unit (there are 2 units in the building, the upper unit probably does have a view, so if you want that check on unit #2 with Adriana), so if you want that, its probably not the place. Also, there is a sump pump that goes off kind of randomly, but it is quiet and very non intrusive. Just noticeable.

The views ! Amazing! The location is perfect, so quiet with amazing views of Seattle skyline. Easy to take the ferry to go to Seattle waterfront, and to go ro Alki Beach, paddle, kayak just 5 mn from the Ferry House The design and everything in the apartment : it is so beautiful and at the same time you will have everything you need Terrace with barbecue Easy to park a car Great communication with Adriana !

hill to house was quite steep but it was located within a short walk to the ferry. Found coffee at Current to our liking. Went all three mornings we were visiting.

noise from the second floor was quite direct

It was a great location and the perfect size for our family of 3. Not too much extra space.

The Master bedroom pillows didn’t give support. It would be nice to have the option of a more firm pillow.

Loved everything about The Ferry House! I stayed in the lower apartment with friends and we had the best time. The bedrooms were a great size and couch comfy to sit and sleep too. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of kitchen amenities. Though it's small we had more than enough space to cook and enjoy meals together. We loved the decor as well. It was wonderful to be in West Seattle so near a dear friend going through chemo - what a gem of a place!

Could be useful to have a pull out sleeper sofa. But otherwise, nothing at all!

Beautiful home.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Just a recommendation, the kitchen table is cool just very wobbly and didn't seem secure. The barstools are not compatible to the table. We had an elderly lady with some limits so things are a bit harder for her. Hard for my elderly friend to make it up and down stairs but we were able to assist. Other than that, good!
