The Chill House

Everything. It’s a great place. Niaz could not be more helpful to everyone in the hostel. The other guests were also lovely and we all went out and ate together. Niaz creates a real community feel that was so appreciated. My daughter and I had a private room that was well equipped and really nice, it also had a quiet fan, the first one we’ve had on our trip! We would recommend the chill house to anyone visiting the area.

It is a very nice charming guest house where you feel good

I had the pleasure of staying at an incredible hostel in Kochi, and I can’t recommend it enough. The location was absolutely perfect, close to all the key tourist spots, charming cafes and everything you’d want to explore in the heart of Kochi. But what really made the experience special was the host, Niaz. He’s just incredible. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable. Nothing was ever too much for him: whether it was tips on where to go, help with anything I needed or just making you feel welcome. He’s the kind of host that makes you feel at home even when you’re miles away from yours.

The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable, but I would say too small for a six bed dorm.

Although I came with the expectation of a very hospitable person, I was put in a very uncomfortable situation by the Host who kept asking inappropriate questions about relationship statues, sexuality etc. After talking to other girls in the dorm I then realised I was not the only girl he tried to take out and stuff… not very professional

Little hostel, cozy, comforable, the place is well taken care of. It is very central so easy to walk everywhere but mostly the people in the hostel were kind, helpful and had great advise and they are a lovely family.
