The Chill House

Niaz is an excellent host and kind-hearted chill person. I stayed in a private room which was clean and comfortable. Although relatively simple, it really had everything I needed. There is a large rooftop area to hang out and chill too. It’s extremely good value for money and the location is in easy walking distance to all of the fort kochi sights Niaz was very responsive if I required anything and was happy to accomodate an after midnight check in for me. He’s also a musical man, so if that’s your vibe, then be sure to come check it out. I’m very grateful for my stay at The Chill House. Thanks Niaz

The house is really nice and in a great location. The beds were comfy and it was really convenient to have a bathroom in each room and not a general shared bathroom. Niaz was incredibly kind to show me around and it was always ready to help! I would totally recommend the Chill House for solo travellers!

Hey, I wanted to leave a review of my stay from the perspective of female solo traveler here. The accommodation was very comfortable and the people at the hostel are friendly and do even check up on you! As a person who feeds off from other people’s energy, I was absolutely taken with the way Niaz (the owner) welcomed the guests and was there to respond to any of your questions. The location of the hostel is very close to a lot of other places, cafes and restaurants including a 50 meter access to the Ferry boat to Ernakullam town. I wish I had stayed for a few more days and this will definitely be my choice of stay in Fort Kochi going forward.

Great location, good people to socialize with and the Niaz will do everything to answer your questions and show you around. Wonderful place to find fellow travelers. Also shared kitchen and roof top to chill.

The dorms are a bit small but since people are nice and attentive not a problem.
