The Chill House

I was here for a week, and this place has gifted me some lovely memories. Niaz is a wonderful host, and the location is quite serene, with several cosy cafes nearby. Just a couple of things though: during peak season, the room can be quite congested. Could also put on curtains for privacy.

Was fine for the price.

Friendly family. Good to meet other travellers. Good location near to places of interest and ferry.

The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about kochi. The beds are comfortable. Location is great. There’s much needed AC in the room, set at a comfortable temperature

Lovely atmosphere - I can see where the hostel got its name! Ha! Location is about 15minutes walk from Dutch fishing net/promenade area and the same from Jew Town. Property is kept really clean and there is a washing machine, kitchen and communal fridge if you want to cook etc. Niaz can help with your bookings and recommendations for things to see/do and onward travel Communal area downstairs and a huge roof terrace

Dorms are fairly small so there isn't too much space for everyone's luggage but not a major issue
