Lovely home, and good facilities, over all. Comfortable beds. Nice terrace overlooking the countryside. Would be great in the summer!

A bit far out in the suburbs, with no place nearby to eat. A bit of a problem, if you are on foot as we were. Large bathtub, but shower did not work, and was hand held.

The location was out of the town but the view from the terrace made up for it, just stunning, I loved the place.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. Very nice bathroom and good comfortable beds.

Booking indicates this is in the center of town. It is not. Erica kindly picked us up in town and brought us back to center in the morning to stay on the VF. It wasn't so very far, but we chose this location because the booking description said it was close.

Main problem for a walker on the Via Francigena is that the lodgings were 1.5 km from Piazza Roma and 70 meters of ascent up a hill, not the "350 meters" from centre of Gambassi Terme as shown. When you have already walked 26 km this is tough. I accept I do not understand Italian, but would not have booked this location if I had realised actual location.

Walls and doors are paper thin what means that a coffee machine located in front of your door will for sure wake you up every morning when being used by other guests Bathroom is shared between "green" and "yellow" rooms (we were not aware).
