The Carden Arms

The pub is located on the edge of the village overlooking open countryside. The building contains lots of historic features and is appropriately furnished. The evening meals are delicious with a very extensive pub food menu. All the meats come from their own farm which is near the pub. Breakfasts are continental but toast and a bacon sandwich are also offered. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I stay here regularly and am happy to return.

Staff are excellent, and dinner was wonderful.

The decor was lovely

Should have checked room before we arrived as we found poo in the loo - it had been there a long time. Paint work around windows need some attention also. Also wasn’t clear that there would be no cooked breakfast mon- fri

I didn’t stay and explained to manager why
