Carmelina Beach Resort Ho Tram

The resort is peefect for families. Lots of activities for kids and parents. The room was vlean and large. Very comfortable. Bathroom has a seperate shower and lotsof counter space. Balcony is large and comfortable. Staff were perfect and helpful. Very close to Ky Quan 2. Ngreat seafood Dislikes: The beach in the photos is not there. The are in the middle of reclaimation. The public beach next door is the typical trash collector. If you are looking for a clean beach this is not the place. The hot water in tge room is very touchy abd will go from cold to boiling very quickly. Buffet was basic but good.

The staff was super friendly all around and made us feel welcome. Especially Nguyễn Minh Tuấn of the staff was great to be around. The decorative plants were in an expectional condition, quality and quantity.

Very charming resort layout on the beach among beautifully kept grounds. Much better than it looks in the photos actually. Several pools, with one overlooking the ocean and with ocean water. Restaurant overlooking pool and ocean. Spacious rooms, good food for all meals and great staff. Beach was good. Lots of activities for kids in the pool playgrounds and indoor playground. Would definitely come back!

We had a few ants in the room who came if we had food out, but as soon as we cleared the food they went away by themselves.

We spent New Year's Eve at Carmelina Resort, and honestly, we had a fantastic time. The staff were always smiling and super friendly, greeting us every time we passed by, which really made us feel at home. :) The resort itself is beautiful, with so much green space around. We loved the saltwater pool, it was great to swim in every day and felt so healthy. The beach was lovely, too, even though the weather wasn’t super sunny. It was actually a nice break from the heat of HCMC, with the cooler air and breeze. The food was really tasty and priced reasonably, and the rooms were spotless, which we really appreciated. We can tell the team takes great care in making sure everything’s in top shape. 🙏🏻 We had a great experience and can’t wait to come back with our family next time. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Great facilities, especially for children. Some parts are a little bit dated and in need of repair, e.g. outdoor playground. Good location (beachfront) and the grounds are well taken care of. Close proximity to newer (and better) hotels may be problematic to the hotel in the future. Staff is fantastic, will always try to accommodate every need although there is the occasional communication struggle.

Food is mostly disappointing, especially (unsurprisingly) the western-style food; whilst not so much an issue for myself, it definitely was for my children. It is also particularly expensive and, considering there are few alternatives in the area, this is disappointing. The rooms were mostly comfortable although the mattress was a little too firm.
