Absolute gem! After the noise and crowds of Funchal this place was a beautiful oasis of tranquility. We loved the facilities, the house itself and the fact you can make your own breakfast from the delicious supplies you get. We wish we had booked more days!

Great view and peacefulness of the area

If you need hardwood for the chimney, you need to do regular physical exercises to bring it from the storage. This means climbing the stairs to the storage up and down. Not a problem during summer but chimney is vital when it is cold outside

Very well located with an excellent view. Nice gardens, everything is well maintained and thought of.

Lovely rural setting overlooking the sea and sunset (when cloud free). Agricultural buildings renovated to a good standard.

A few annoyances - ongoing renovation work in next unit meant it was not peaceful and we couldn’t really use our patio. Smelly toilets and one didn’t work at all. Several small appliances were not working.

We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Thanks so much for your hospitality! :)
