Modern Design Studio Apartment In Riga Center

It was a cosy studio, all the equipment was good. Very close to the central train station so I could move around easily. It was just like in the pictures. Quite quiet, even in the high season in July.

Overall it was good. I stayed there for one week so only tiny issues that I encountered were that you have to buy your own supplies for washing machine and extra toilet paper. I guess most of the guests stay just for few days so nobody asked for it before.

The apartment has everything you need for a short stay and is also located near the train & bus station. It is easy to reach the city centre, the old town and many sightings.

Firstly, the flat is very dry and can get hot during summer. (It has some issues with ventilation I guess) Secondly, there is a night club across the street and it can sometimes get too loud to sleep. Lastly, the communication with the owner isn't quite good as they're answering too long. (We had two questions during different days and for the first time we haven't received the answer and for the second time the owner answered on the next day)

Good contact with Kristine, the owner/administrator via sms and booking application before arrival. Good instructions to find the main door, the keys and the apartment (big building with several doors and areas). Comfortable beds, good heating system, close to train station and supermarkets. The staff was very responsive. At arrival, we noticed that there were small plates, glasses and some kitchen towels missing. We contacted Kristine and the next day the missing items were deposited at the door.

On the third day of our arrival, the water supply was cut in the apartment for the whole day and nobody had told us! It was very annoying to get up in the morning and find out there is no water for toilet and shower!! We had to call Kristine on our mobile to find out at 9:45 a.m. that works were planned that day till 5:00 p.m. with no water in the apartment during that time ! We would have appreciated a message on our mobile or via the booking application the night before or earlier the same morning at least!

The studio is clean has everything you need. It is very well located, close to the train station, the old town and the new one. The street is quiet and nearby you have plenty restaurants and bars where you can go and a very nice park.

The staff didn't answer to my messages during my stay. The only message I received wasn't a reply to my question but a question about the hour of my departure. There was no small spoons and the blanket on the bed was stinky. Fortunately there was a washing machine so I could wash it.
