Clarence at Royal William Yard

The location was superb. Accommodation was stunning. Parking space was very close to Accommodation.

Very spacious apartment with lots of character in a historic, interesting building. Comfortable beds and everywhere was very clean. We were so pleased we chose this location to explore Plymouth for 3 days - easy access by bus to the busier parts of the city (or 15-20mins walk), but away from busy areas and traffic. Royal William Yard has restaurants and bars, with other great options just a short walk away eg The VOT, Artillery Arms and Lord High Admiral. We got the ferry from Barbican to Cawsand and walked 2 hours to Cremyll to catch the ferry back to the accommodation. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed in this lovely two-bedroom apartment that exceeded our expectations. It boasted modern amenities and tasteful decor, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance. The living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals. Both bedrooms were comfortable and inviting, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Its convenient location offered easy access to local attractions, bars and restaurants making our stay both enjoyable and memorable.

We gave an eta of 1600-1700 but reached only at 1900, the host herself was present with the keys and she was pleasant. The property is situated in a private area with a nice bar and restaurants very close. There is a coastal walk with good scenery.

There was nothing to dislike.

The layout was perfect for 4 adults, it was very clean and well stocked with every day essentials. The beds were very comfortable and the property itself was lovely and warm. Location is spot on for restaurants, bars and walks along the coast, no need for a taxi home. There is a bus stop out side RWY that takes you into Plymouth (10 min ride) and not far from the Tamar Bridge / Torpoint ferry to take you into Cornwall

Location is exceptional with cafés and restaurants. Walking distance to ferries. Accommodation is warm, clean and has comfortable beds.

No dishwasher or no microwaveable containers. Shower very stiff to change from bath to shower.
