We stayed last year, so we decided to stay again and would go back the host Jane was amazing and recognised us from last year it is a family run business and it is quite and calm place overall pretty clean

Breakfast was exceptional as our previous stay. Jane et al make you feel instantly at home and nothing is too much trouble. They were so patient with my 5 year old and her obsession with the farm cat and the lawnmower, really taking time to have a wee chat with her. Room and bathroom are fairly sized and as we expected for the 2 of us. When we previously stayed as a 3 the room was proportionally larger and definitely did the job. We booked on a whim last year as accommodation for an event and deliberately took a break in the area to be based here this year. We'll definitely be back, it's a real gem of a place. Thanks Jane 😊

Jane is lovely, really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful, especially their own free range eggs which you can buy off they have any left!! Also I have to mention Fergus, the friendliest, beautiful three legged cat you'll ever meet.

This is NOT something that bothered us at all as we are cat people but Fergus is allowed to roam around the downstairs communal areas, including the dining room at breakfast. This didn't bother anyone who was also there when we went, he doesn't beg or bother anyone, he's just there. However, some people might not like this or may have an allergy to cats. This is not a criticism at all, just info.

Idyllic location just a few minutes drive from the town of Richmond, North Yorkshire. The room was spotlessly clean, large and well appointed. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Jane was a superb hostess, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

There was nothing we didn't like, although Jane was struggling to turn off the central heating, especially noticeable during a very warm spell in mid-July!

Fantastic breakfast! Loved the fresh fruit and homemade marmalade alongside a full English made with top quality ingredients. Brilliant location just a short drive from Richmond. The bed was also super comfy and the friendly cat was a bonus!

Rural location. Lovely farmhouse with very traditional dinning area offering a very full, freshly cooked English breakfast.
