River Edge Yala

The location is good

We have booked four rooms from five rooms from full villa , and they told us that we can use kitchen and didn't say it's paid, but when we checkout they charged more money for kitchen , and also one of the room ac didn't work at all . Toilet sheet was very dirty and mould .

We had a really nice stay at River Edge Hotel Yala. The double room was big, very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The view from the room was amazing — we could see the river, which made the whole place feel so peaceful and relaxing. The garden is also very natural and beautiful. The hotel is close to the town, so the location was very convenient. The WiFi was good, the food was great, and the staff were always friendly and checked on our comfort during the stay. The owner was especially very helpful and even guided us on the way to the hotel, which we really appreciated. Madushika was also very kind and helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, perfect even for a longer visit. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended.

Le prix : n’était pas cher du tout

Aucune organisation : nous avions prévu par message avec l’établissement le safari pour Yala + les petits déjeuner à emporter (dont un avec allergies): le gérant avait tout validé et nous avait tout confirmé par message. Arrivés sur place, il n’avait rien prévu du tout : il nous a organisé le safari en nous annonçant d’abord un départ à 6h du matin (comme dit par message), puis à 22h, nous a annoncé qu’il faudrait partir à 4h30 du matin le lendemain, et que nous ne serions pas rentrés avant 12h30 (contre 10h dit par message). Le repas était sommaire et nous n’avons pas mangé beaucoup car tout nous paraissait très sale. Les équipements, encore une fois, une grosse blague : dans l’une des chambres réservées, pas de papier toilette, dans l’autre, pas de drap mis sur le lit, ni de serviette de toilette. Le compteur électrique faisait du bruit et sentait le brûlé. Lorsque nous l’avons signalé, le gérant nous a tout simplement éteint le compteur pour stopper le bruit (= chambre dans le noir complet donc toute la nuit). Pour activer la carte pour la lumière, le gérant a mis un stylo dans l’interstice (dangereux). Les équipements dans la salle de bains étaient sales, rouillés, le savon mis à disposition était déjà usagé, odeurs d’égouts +++. Fourmis rouges dans la chambre.. Et la cerise sur le gâteau, des locaux qui ont pris l’apéritif toute la nuit à côté de nos chambres, au niveau de l’espace restauration. Ils étaient ivres et ont fait énormément de bruit (rires, musique +++). Certes le gérant avait toujours le sourire, mais cela ne fait pas tout. Le safari n’était guère mieux : aucune explication, le chauffeur ne parlait qu’à peine anglais. Il a suivi toutes les autres jeep la plupart du temps, impossible donc de voir des animaux de manière respectueuse. En bref, à fuir.

Big room and bathroom, lovely patio. Owner went above and beyond - loved having tea when we got back after a busy day, that was very thoughtful!

Not really walking distance to anywhere

A Perfect Getaway Near Yala! I had an amazing stay at River Edge Yala! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food was absolutely delicious, The environment was calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful,They also arranged a budget-friendly safari tour to Yala National Park, which was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yala for its exceptional service and value for money.

All is well. It's a really wonderful atmosphere. The food and beverages are excellent. Additionally, the safari was planned for us.
