"A beautiful, peaceful stay with amazing breakfast, warm hospitality, and a great balance of privacy"

We spent two wonderful days at Casa Hera and can highly recommend it. The whole place has been created with a lot of care, warmth, and attention to detail, which makes it feel very special from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights was the breakfast. The selection was excellent, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care. It was easily one of the best breakfasts we have had during our travels. The pool is lovely, and the atmosphere offers a perfect balance between privacy and a relaxed, welcoming environment. The house is about a 15-minute walk from the beach, which we found totally ok. Diani Beach itself is a wonderful destination, offering both relaxation and plenty of opportunities to explore for those who want a bit more than just a beach holiday.

The only small downside for us was that the mattresses were a bit firm.

"Pleasant and secluded, but far from seafront."

Small hotel with private pool and very friendly staff. Distance to sea front requires a tuktuk ride and half the way there is on very bumpy roads.

Une ambiance familiale, un hôtel proche de de la culture du Kenya, des hôtes aux petits soins, de supers conseils pour les visites, des repas typiques différents tous les jours et très bon marché. Un séjour super !!!

The shared kitchen was very dirty. There were power cuts in the nights so the fan stoooed working. There was very little space and the shared space and smoking area was dicky outside our bedroom

It was a peaceful location and very nicely set up. The host was helpful.

Its a little far from the beach and its not safe to get out after sunset. Plus not a lot to do at the property unless there are other guests staying.

- hotel manager was friendly and good-to-reach - guests are allowed to use the swimming pool 24/7

- staff did not greet - staff only cleaned room 1 out of 2 days and did a sloppy job (bin not emptied, no new toilet paper provided, etc.) - fresh milk for coffee was explicitly advertised but was never available unless asking for it for breakfast - breakfast was very disappointing both in quantity and quality - earliest breakfast time is 8:30 (very late!), and one time, it was provided with 50 min delay
