Everything about this place was spot on. Ideal for couples. Quiet, clean, warm, and a fatastic bathroom a d comfy bed. Lyn made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended and not far from Ponteland and the airport.

The property is in very good condition - it is freshly decorated and clean. It’s a quirky cottage in a good location for access to the NE coast, Newcastle and Northumberland - although the noise of planes taking off first thing in the morning and late at night is pretty loud.

For a tall couple the property did present challenges - when in the kitchen area and when in the shower room. It wasn’t possible to shower with ease, and you have to reverse onto the loo! We found the lighting a challenge - from struggling to find all light switches on the first night - to it being very dark (especially upstairs where there is limited natural light) when drying hair/applying make-up.

The property was well appointed and traditional. Nice features. Clean. Pretty.

Parking away from the front door. Not easy for luggage or eating outside. EXTREMELY small bathroom. Could not stand at the toilet, nor properly shower. The space with the bath was lovely but again sloping ceilings quite low. The airport was not mentioned. Planes going over every half hour from early morning to late at night. Garden... very small. Kitchen very small. Difficult to access cutlery -inside cupboard on the bottom. Fridge froze our food. No bin bags anywhere in the property. For a weekend or week stay, needs to be better equipped. Had to buy dishcloth and washing up liquid. There was a dishwasher with a couple of tablets, but nothing else to clean with. We frequently stay away and have had bigger and better for less.
