Stable Cottage at Yearle House

Beautiful Place - So quiet and peaceful and would definitely recommend. Will be visiting again. Breakfast was wondefrful - try the home-made granola - its delicious! The room was exquisite and extremely comfortable. A great stay.

We used Yearle House as a centre for completing the 2nd three day section of the St. Cuthberts Way path. Local taxi service ( Des Hood) was excellent for taking us to our start point etc. Yearle House is exceptional. If you are up for a bit of English, country-house grandeur, this is it. Mylo and Poppy are superb hosts. Breakfast was in a spacious dining room overlooking the garden and fields beyond. The coffee (my yardstick for breakfast reviews) was, I'm pleased to say, unlimited in quantity and at the top end of taste. As for the smoked trout and perfectly au-point, 'strangled' eggs...to die for. Yearle House is big. The bedroom is big. The bathroom is huge, bigger than the average B&B bedroom. The staircase is big with ancestral oil portraits lining the walls. The living room is vast and comfortable and beautifully furnished with a wood burner to add to the relaxing ambience. A well stocked drinks fridge etc at pretty-much, at-cost prices. A 'pantry' upstairs with all manner of coffee and teas and a daily, home-made, sweet treat. Superb and very quiet location a mile or so from Wooler which has an excellent, and very popular, restaurant, the Milan. This is a first-class B&B and I can simply confirm the many previous glowing reviews!

Excellent Northumberland breakfast cooked by the hosts, Warm welcome and a beautiful home. It's like sleeping in a manor. Very spacious room and bath, comfy bed. Wooler is a beautiful town full of activities. I'd recommend this place for a relaxing stay

Absolute perfection. Mylo was the perfect host. There's an honesty bar. Tea and coffee in the pantry. Complementary sweet treats. Lots of books,magazines and games. The views are splendid. Clean and tidy.

We had the most perfect two night stay at Yearle House. Booked as a birthday treat, and what a treat it was. The property is situated amongst rolling fields with sheep (and an owl) with beautiful views from every window. The photos can’t give you the full picture of the quality and comfort of the rooms which are all so spacious and beautifully decorated. Our room had a huge en-suite with the deepest bath tub, twin sinks and large walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had excellent sleeps. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, home made granola and huge teapots. The pantry has an excellent choice of teas and coffees too. We enjoyed sitting in the sitting room with a book and a G & T from the honesty bar in the evening .It was so comfortable and relaxing, such a change of pace from our normality. Our stay was made extra special by the hosts. Mylo is very friendly and helpful and he made us feel so welcome and comfortable, even telling us to fill up the huge bath as the hot water is plentiful. Popy gave us a warm welcome too and baked delicious treats to go with the tea. I’ve mentioned that this was a treat and it was a celebration but it was exceptional value for money. We have already recommended Yearle House to friends. Thank you Mylo and Popy!

There is nothing to dislike here.

Comfortable and had 2 ensuite bedrooms. Close to Wooler. Quiet and well equipped.

Spacious. 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, nice shower. Very well equipped kitchen Comfortable beds Really good nights sleep Mylo’s was really lovely as a host. The lemon drizzle cake was lovely
