Stable Cottage at Yearle House

Everything, not alot to complain about Excellent staff, room & breakfast Beautiful location

If pushed, I would have liked 2 armchairs in our lovely room so we could enjoy the fabulous views together. My husband wasn't good at sharing. The room was plenty big enough to accommodate this. It was a little hot & no fan in the room, perhaps if I asked, one would have been provided. The bed and pillows were a little too soft for me, but this is personal taste & my husband had no problem. The location of this beautiful house is described as "Wooler" but it is a few miles out of Wooler, and certainly would be a long walk back from Town along narrow country roads - again, this in no way impacted our stay.

This is a real gem of a place with warm and welcoming owners who made us feel special. There is everything to like about Yearle House from the superbly comfortable bed to the large and airy rooms, all beautifully appointed, and a breakfast to set you up for the day. We found it while hiking St.Cuthbert's Way but it would be a great place for a romantic getaway too, given its location among the beautiful rolling farmlands. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

The room was lovely and big and the view from it was amazing. Mylo was very friendly and welcoming.

Had to get in the car to go anywhere.

So welcoming. Old fashioned charm and comforts. Fabulous bedroom and huge bathroom. Very comfortable bed with lovely bed linens. Delicious breakfast. Delightful and knowledgeable hosts - so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great care has been taken to ensure you have a lovely stay.

What a beautiful property & home. Perfectly located for exploring so many places. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom magnificent. So clean and comfortable and Mylo was such a lovely host, friendly & helpful. We felt really looked after, definitely well fed and rested. Cosy open fires inside and views as far as the eye can see outside. A real country gem.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Yearle House. Mylo and Poppy are fantastic hosts. Everything in Yearle House is tastefully decorated. All our wishes were catered for. We enjoyed the goodies in the pantry :-). Breakfast was out of this world. It was freshly made for us every morning and there was a huge range of local produce to choose from. We adored the grilled tomatoes. Mylo is very knowledgeable and gave us some good recommendations to eat locally. Our suite was beautiful and very quiet (due to the location). There was everything that you needed.

Fantastic food all locally sourced. Cooked to order. Also produce from their own garden.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our lovely room in this delightful house in the countryside. The breakfast was excellent and access to ‘the pantry’ for drinks and homemade cake, very welcome! Our host was very helpful in providing information about places to visit and venues for dinner.

There was nothing to dislike.
