Koh Rong Lagoon

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great location away from the main busy areas but can get to long set pier in 10 minutes walk and Koh touch 20 mins walking along the coast. The room is very spacious and there are lots of hammocks to chill on. They also offer a laundry service which was really convenient and we were able to book tours and the bus and boat transfers with them also.

We were in a private room and A fridge would have been useful to keep some water cold. The music from the bar or nearby bars can be heard at night even with earplugs as the door wasn’t fully sealed.

Beds were big and comfortable

I found it not to be a super friendly place. Staff/volunteers were quiet cliquey which made the space feel more of there place than some where for guest to feel comfortable.

Really nice rooms and staff

Good showers, rooms were clean, could book tours/buses/boats ect through the hostel. It had wifi and the staff were very helpful when wanting to book extra nights or when we had questions. The location was perfect in our opinion. Just off the beach up a path, little bit of a walk but max 5 minutes. Super close to the nightlife but as it’s in the jungle rather than on the beach you can’t hear it on a night. For the price you pay, no complaints. Enjoyed our stay.

Only comment is on a night the sinks get full of flies really badly however understandable since it’s in a jungle and it was always clean first thing in a morning.

Door wouldn't stay shut as latch broken, causing us to both get lots of bites. You had to pay to refill your water, a lot of other places offering it for free. Loud at night.

The staff were lovely and so helpful!

It’s a trek through the jungle to get through the accomodation to the beach at night. The beds are very hard and also concrete floors that I felt like I had to wear shoes 24/7 in my room. The room is $42 a night for a private room, so can’t complain much, but have stayed in cheaper accom in Cambodia that’s nicer

The people there even if they didn’t work, were the nicest we have met on our travels, creating a really nice and friendly environment. The location is close to both the pier, village and places to party (furthest walk is the village which is 20 minutes). The best place we have stayed and shall be coming again.
