Nice little hotel in Stromness. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, breakfast staff was delightful.

2 night stay. I don't think I ever got hot water. Warm but not hot. I could never get the heat going. Neither of these things bothered my stay, I took a quick shower and I don't mind a cool room. They 'check in' guy was kinda grumpy, not the most pleasant.

"Nice place to stay, expensive for a single room."

Its position was great, in the centre of the village, however cars had to be parked a fair way from the hotel and I had trouble locating mine the next day.

When leaving the next morning, couldn’t find anyone to check out, very impersonal.

I thought that a new mattress was in order. Current one was lumpy and uncomfortable
