Serendip Villa Holiday Home Talalla

We stayed for one nights in Serendip Villa Holiday home. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner was delicious. The AC worked perfekt and the bathroom was clean and the shower was good I liked everything, this place is highly recommended. Prasath the Manager was fantastic, he made me feel like home. If you want a comfortable laid back place and relax, this is the place to go.

Great location, 10 minute walk to Talalla Beach. we had delicious breakfast and dinner there every day and Staff were very kind and friendly Self serve laundry, kitchen and drinking Water on site were greatly appreciated.

I have had a wonderful stay serendip villa it is remarkably peace full and quite amid lush jangles full of birds and occasional langurs. Caretakers are doing a great job of hospitality. Keeping place very neat and well maintained few grocery shops are nearby. Kitchen with all essentials. Talalla beach is very nice easliy reachable. Would definitely recommend to stay in this more authentic part of the sri lanka for purer local experience

Absolutely wonderful stay

The food was good and Nisha, who works there, was incredibly helpful, always going out of her way to make the stay more enjoyable, she was fantastic. The downstairs flat is great, spacious and has all amenities. The upstairs room share a kitchen with all amenities as well.

The manager, Prasad, was horrible. When I first arrived he gave me a room upstairs that didn’t have hot water even though I paid for the flat downstairs. But he gave the flat to other guests as a free upgrade before I arrived which meant I had 3 nights in the wrong room without hot water. Then he didn’t give me proper information about the beaches available around or warned me about mosquitoes. I got so badly bitten by the mosquitoes in the garden I had a strong allergic reaction. Finally on my last day, Prasad moved the new guests into my flat before the agreed check out time without warning me (he had confirmed he would move them into the flat after my departure) so when I came back from the beach there were strangers in my flat, having full access to all my belongings, money and travel documents. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. If it wasn’t for Nisha, this place would be a total disaster. The management is appalling.

A lovely villa in the most relaxing village, the hosts are so friendly and helpful. The beautiful beach is only a 10minute walk. Breakfast was always delicious, great clean rooms with air con, and a lovely outdoor patio/balcony to hang out in the evenings. Kitchen facilities were a good standard for basic cooking. Prasath and Nisha are wonderful hosts and we are so grateful for their hospitality :) Thank you!

Great saty The villa has large beautiful garden a large bedroom with AC good bathroom with hotwater blacony. Kitchen dining area. Breakfast is tasty with fresh fruits also tasty dinner. Free bikes. In 2 minutes supermarket in 6 minutes walking Talalla Beach helpful staff recommened

We loved our stay at Serendipity Villa. The hosts were so kind and helpful, offering free laundry and water throughout our stay. The breakfasts were fabulous. The host also kindly offered to drop us to restaurants and the bus stop.

Talalla beach wich is by for the quietest beach we have seen in sri lanka its 7 mint walk. They have 2 bikes free of charge. Abusolutely Recommended

Everything was perfect

The service was excellent, the host did everything to meet our wiches. We had a very good breakfast, and we also enjoyed a very nice dinner - the host has a restaurant, very convient if you feel like staying at the place.

Talalla Beach is a very quiet place, but if you want a more lively place, it only takes 15 min with the local bus to come to Dickwella Beach which is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka.

Serendip was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka and we would recommend to anyone visiting! Nisha and Manju were wonderful hosts, always happy to help and very friendly. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment Manju dropped us off at the bus station! The room was spotless with a nice bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. There were great facilities throughout the property, with lots of outdoor space for relaxing during the day and in the evening, including a hammock and a balcony. Serendip would also be great for a longer stay as there are kitchen and laundry facilities. The food was amazing, and we would definitely recommend having lunch/dinner during your stay, as the rice and curry is delicious. It is only a short walk down to Tallala beach, which is nice and peaceful, especially compared to some of the more popular tourist beaches nearby.
