Surrounded by nature, nice bar and restaurant area - served us even at 10pm when we arrived late

Our particular room was underground so always damp and constant smell of humidity

The first thing to have in mind is that when you visit Bromo you need to wake up at 2AM and will stay a minimal amount of time at the hotel. This place is basic, but it has the most helpful manager I can think off. The guy is great and will plan everything you need for Bromo and the waterfall. He is super and the staff make the stay worthwhile. The food at yhe restaurant is also ok.

We only slept a few hours in the room and practiclly didn’t use the bathroom which is not the cleanest. They could invest of nicer bath towels. As said, I am a pragmatic person snd honestly it is a waste to splash on an expensive hotel to visit Bromo and this will do the trick nicely even if not suited for more than one night, which is all you need there anyway.

good if you want to take the excursion to bromo sunrise. basic room is very small but it’s ok. the private excursion they offer is a bit expensive, if you’re on a budget it’s better a shared one you can find at probolinggo stn. very nice atmosphere and nice breakfast.

Nice large room, like in the photos. Very quiet. Very kind staff.

Small bathroom.

The hotel is located on the road that takes you up Mount Bromo, hence it's the perfect starting point for the sunrise hike. It faces some woods so it gets very peaceful and quite at night, allowing for some stars watching.

The room had no windows and was extremely small, when entering there was a rather unpleasant smell - I highly recommend asking for a room with windows in advance! Also, the hotel is basically run by kids (at least it's so in the evening). They are really nice and friendly, however it makes you question morals and ethics.
