La Isla Tropica

The only positive thing out of all this is the hardworking man called Rohan who did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible but with limited resources around him.

The owner could do with refurbishment of the rooms and place. The least put a.Tv in the rooms..also the location pictures on booking com paint a different picture on ground..

The host is amazing yes the facilities are a bit old but can't beat the value

Very quiet area, tasty breakfasts/dinners, comfortable room and friendliest staff. 💯 Rohan helped me throughout my stay on the island. He showed me around the island, showed me the food shops, helped arrange excursions and was a very pleasant conversationalist. At the end of my stay helped bring my bags in a special vehicle to the port with boats. Thank you Rohan and Denise, I felt great while staying at La Isla Tropica.

We arrived very late to Male. Due to Ramadan, our pre-booked speedboat was cancelled, so I asked Ilham to help us with arranging speedboat transfer. He did his best plus he was waiting for us at the airport and guided us to Guraidho island. From La Isla Tropica they arranged a mini van for our luggages. Rohan is a very kind person, I have never expected such hospitality and support. He help us in everything: getting medicine to the hurt shoulder, offering great suncream, preparing takeaway breakfast and organizing boat trip. Whatever we needed: he was always there to help. I cannot thank him enough for his great personality. We all like the breakfast and dinner, which were tasty and more than enough :) I would defienetly like to return, we had gorgeous 6days in La Isla Tropica and in Guraidhoo.

La Isla Tropica was definitely a great option in Guraidhoo. The host was very kind all the time, receiving us as we came out of the ferry to take us to the restaurant on the beach and welcoming us with a drink and refreshing towels. The room was very spacious and clean, and beds were comfy. Yummy breakfast as well (and he prepared packed breakfast for our departure day). All in all, a wonderful choice!

We'd have preferred a double bed, for better comfort, but not a big deal (bed was good) :)

Good value. Breakfast is decent. You also get a welcome drink. They provide baggage transfer from/to the port with a small buggy.

The AC in our room was noisy and for some reason it was too cold with the AC running even though I set the max temperature 30°C. It's located near a mosque so you'll hear all the prayers. About 10min walking to the port and about the same to the bikini beach.
