La Isla Tropica

Breakfast was good. The girl in the restaurant was really nice - the best one of all the staff I met in this hotel. The location is OK, since the island is so small nothing is far away from anything. The bed was really comfortable.

The absence of staff in the hotel. I couldn't find anyone as I arrived to check in and had to look and ask around for quite a while. Power failure for quite a while. A hazzle to pay with credit card. Cockroaches in the hotel.

Location and staff helpfulness.

Unnecesary poking by one of the staff, nobody there to receive at ferry terminal in Guraidhoo inapite of previous communication. The staff not informing the restaurant properly about vegetarian preference. No soap or shampoo the first day inspite of being listed.

The location was very good. And the staff Mr.Rohan was so helpful and friendly. He made our stay well spent and guided us well. I recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is in the middle of a mostly Muslim neighborhood and overall people were not friendly and did not respond to our greetings. The tourist gift shops were ridiculously overpriced as compared to other islands. Food options were very limited. This island was described as budget friendly and able to provide a local experience. Sadly the local experience was not a good experience.

A large comfortable bed with warm blankets, a powerful air conditioner, hot water, a welcome drink upon check-in, and the lobby looks very cozy and charming

The value for money is below average; I think you can find better hotels. To pay by card, you will need to go to another hotel

Simple stay with good value for money on this wonderful island. Rohan is a great host and accompanied us in showing us around the island.

Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Hotel owners are helpful.
